A sales campaign for 10-storey condominium project HK Apartment Calmette, located just north of Wat Phnom near the British Embassy, has been officially launched.
Saraboth Ea, managing director of MAXEM Property, which is authorised to sell the buildings’ units, said the luxury condo project was being constructed to international standards.
He added that the project, which broke ground last year with a $5.5 million cash injection from investors, was in a desirable location close to the river, embassies, the city’s commercial hub, Wat Phnom, Calmette Hospital and the Beoung Kak development area.
“The units in the first stage of the project are selling well, and clients are satisfied with the design and construction, which is high quality, with materials imported from overseas,” he said.
Prices range from $156,000 to $500,000 per unit, with condos ranging in size from 85 square metres to 190 square metres.
Chailin Sear, chief executive of CL Realty, said that the prices were reasonable given the building’s location and quality.
Sear said he thought the project would be successful, saying: “$156,000 per unit . . . seems high, but if we think about the location and the quality, it seems suitable.”
MAXEM Property sales executive Loem Nuy said the HK Apartment building’s first phase was 85 per cent complete.
The apartment’s twin buildings, which are currently having their foundations laid, will be connected with the first tower and is scheduled for completion in early 2015.
Nuy said one of the projects’ selling points was its spaciousness. “Clients are interested in the project because it has larger rooms suitable for families. Furthermore, parking space is spacious,” he said.
The first building covers 551 square metres of land. The top floor will feature a swimming pool, steam room, sauna and gym.
